Hallo
In grade 7/8 we are 12 to 14 years old. Favourite Canadian foods for teenagers are poutine, pizza, wings.We don't have a cantine, we bring our own foods. We have pizza or pasta days on Fridays.

Hi students from St Theresa,
We are Babette and Lisa from 't Atrium class T2a. Thanks for your comment, we will try to answer your questions as good as possible.
First off, the weather, the weather in the Netherlands usually is quite rainy, this is because we have a sea climate. However at the moment the weather is nice, yesterday the sun even shone !! Right now it is about 12 degrees Celsius overhere, not bad. We didn't really have much snow this winter, it was quite cold though, but not as cold as in your place.
What we do in our sparetime varies per kid, but most of us just hang out together, watch movies or youtube videos, and loads of people play/do sports.
You wanted to lean some Dutch right?
Well , Hello = Hallo
How are you = Hoe gaat het?
I am ..... = Ik ben ....
Bye = doei
Try google translate for pronunciation ;)
Some questions for you guys:
- How does your schoolsystem work? As in how old are you in grade 7/8?
- Is there any good Canadian food we should try?
- And do you have a cantine? If yes what do they serve?
In our school everyone has to bring their own food, but you can also buy some in the cantine, which is very expensive.
Greetings from T2a
