’t Atrium T2A

Page history last edited by n.cole@t-atrium.nl 9 years ago

Hello everyone!
We’re students from the Atrium, class T2A.
The Atrium is located in the Netherlands, province Utrecht and city Amersfoort (approximately in the middle of the country). On the Atrium, there are students with different levels of education, we ourselves follow bilingual education. So most of our lessons are taught in English, but some are in Dutch though. There are two classes each year of this type of education, which usually contain in between 20 till 25 students. We ourselves have a class with 22 children. Exactly 11 boys and 11 girls. It’s a really nice group of people. In the beginning, the English skills per child differed very much, but now that gap has almost closed. The teachers, who give us the lessons and explanations in English, have been educated themselves. So they have a diploma they need to be allowed to teach their students in English. The subjects we get taught in English are: geography, history, biology, English of course, PE, arts class and EIO (European International Orientation). We also have some teachers that have lived in the UK or USA themselves.

Here's some photos of our school:

Hi my mane Christofer Morales, I was looking at the map and I wonder what do you call the land that used to be covered by water?

Hello students from ’t Atrium,
We are from Carmel College Salland. We like it that you guys do so much subjects in English. Your school looks very nice. There are some very difficult words that you used in your text. We like to know something more about your class. 

Hi, we are from St Theresa. Your English is much better than our Dutch. LOL we don't know Dutch but we would like to learn some. :) How's the weather, we're freezing, minus 32.5 C yesterday. We've had a lot of snow this year. Do you get snow?
What do you do in your spare time? We look forward to learning many things about you and your culture. We will introduce ourselves shortly.
